Life as a Financial Consultant

A Financial Consultant, also known as Financial Advisor, provide individuals or businesses with advice and guidance on various aspects of finance to help them achieve their financial goals.

Being a financial consultant is a rewarding career. Here are some aspects of what it’s like:

Work-Life Balance: You are your own boss. Whether you are a sports/fitness enthusiast, a family-oriented person, you will have the time to do all those while working as a financial consultant. You plan your own routine.

No Salary Ceiling: There is no cap towards your salary. Your salary is based on your own effort.

Client Interaction: Much of your time is spent interacting with clients, understanding their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences. This involves effective communication and relationship-building skills.

Competitive Compensation: There are competitive compensation packages, including base salary (for 36 months), performance-based bonuses, and benefits such as monthly incentives and yearly incentive trips, to value and rewards consultants for their hard work and dedication.

You need to have:

  • Full certificate in GCE ‘A’ Level, International Baccalaureate Diploma qualification, diploma awarded by a polytechnic in Singapore or equivalent. Degree holders are preferred.
  • At least 21 years old
